Postdoctoral Fellowship

May Psychology is a small, growing group practice based in Boston MA. Our practice focuses on providing the highest quality psychological care to adults across the state, and fostering a collaborative, supportive environment for our clinicians. We are seeking three motivated post doctoral fellows who are interested in private practice and joining our community. We hope to hire fellows at the end of their fellowship.

The primary goal of the program is to prepare post doctoral fellows to become excellent, outpatient clinicians providing evidence based therapy services for a range of diagnostic issues. Fellows at May Psychology will provide outpatient psychotherapy services to adults and/or couples. While the practice serves adults across the lifespan, we specialize in emerging adults (20s & 30s) and the many life stressors that accompany this developmental stage. Our population tends towards high functioning adults with a range of diagnostic presentations, commonly including anxiety, depression, career stress, relationship issues, and trauma.

Training activities include providing an average of 25 individual or couples therapy sessions per week, and completing all relevant assessments and documentation. Supervision will be provided in the form of 1 hour individual, and 1 hour of group supervision to meet MA licensure requirements. Additionally, there is 1 hour of case consultation/administrative support each week. Periodic didactic trainings focused on professional development topics, evidence based treatments, and the business of private practice will be offered periodically throughout the year.

Training Objectives
